Private Label & OEM 3D Printer Filament

Put your brand on filament that already works. Pick series and colors, approve samples on your machines, then add your label, box and barcode — every step approved in writing.

Start with your target product, sales channel, approximate quantity and packaging idea. Material not final yet? That’s fine too.

Approve the Filament Before Investing in Packaging

Test the filament before you invest in packaging — that order protects your launch budget.

Best starting point

A clear product and channel

Tell us what filament you want to sell, who it’s for, and which products your team will test first.

First decision

The product your brand stands behind

Evaluate the selected series and color using the conditions and acceptance criteria that matter to your market.

One plan

Product, artwork, packaging, order

Keep product and brand decisions connected through one private-label brief and approval sequence.

For filament brands

Second Source & Range Extension

Existing filament brands use FilaSource as a second source or to extend into materials their current supplier doesn’t cover well.

  • Second-source qualification — validate our batches against your incumbent with the same test inputs, then split volume as you see fit
  • Multi-material expansion — add TPU, ASA, ABS or PA-CF lines without a new supply chain
  • Dedicated product plans — series, colors and packaging versions reserved for your brand
  • Batch consistency evidence — written inspection records and lot traceability for audits

Listing-Ready From Day One

E-commerce teams need more than a spool: they need launch-ready data and packaging versions that survive channel rules.

  • Launch data — series-level specs, temperatures from current labels and carton data for your listings and fulfillment setup
  • Labels & barcodes — your artwork, your EAN/UPC barcodes, applied per market requirements
  • Packaging versions — retail box iterations (language, compliance marks) managed as versions, not one-off fixes
  • Operations collaboration — replenishment signals and order pacing matched to your channel calendar

Planning Your Product Mix

A typical first range: 3–6 SKUs — one volume base (PLA), one premium finish (Silk or Matte), one functional line (PETG or TPU). All share 1.75 mm ±0.02 mm on 1 kg spools, so listings stay consistent.

Volume base

PLA Basic / Macaron

Highest turns, biggest color range — PLA series →

Premium finish

Silk / Matte / Marble

Shelf differentiation — Silk PLA · Matte

Functional line

PETG / TPU / PA-CF

For customers who print parts, not decor — PETG · TPU

Packaging & Labels: Standard First, Custom Second

Custom Color Development

Custom color matching is available. For the best accuracy, provide a physical color sample; Pantone codes or reference images also work.

  • Physical sample preferred — the factory matches against the real object
  • Pantone or reference image possible, with a reasonable difference allowance
  • Slight color differences can occur due to materials, production batches and display settings — we keep that expectation explicit
  • A color-matching fee may apply and may be waived for qualifying volume orders

Reference MOQs, by Customization Level

Reference minimums (1 spool = 1 kg, 10 spools per carton). Commercial standard colors start at 100+ spools (≈100 kg); custom packaging 500 kg; custom colors 3,000 kg. All are discussed and confirmed per project — they are not unconditional thresholds.

Custom packaging500 kg500 spools = 50 cartonsYour brand box, label, barcode or spool presentation

Selected in-stock products may support smaller trial orders. Whether materials or colors can be mixed to reach a minimum is confirmed per project. “Reference” means exactly that — send your target and we’ll confirm what’s possible.

The Approval Sequence

Every private-label project walks the same five gates. Nothing moves to the next gate without your written approval.

STEP 01

Product Selection

Choose series and colors from the catalogue — or propose custom targets. We confirm what’s available and what needs development.

STEP 02

Sample Validation

Paid samples with agreed test inputs and pass criteria. You print the actual parts on your machines.

STEP 03

Artwork & Packaging Proof

Label, box, spool and barcode proofs against your brief. Versions managed in writing.

STEP 04

Pre-Production Approval

A production sample in final materials and packaging — the exact configuration of your first order.

STEP 05

First Order & Handover

Production, inspection per the quality system, and delivery. Reorders follow the locked, approved spec.

Pricing

Quote-based

Tiered by specification and quantity. Product, customisation and logistics are quoted separately; DDP is evaluated per shipment.

Lead time

Confirmed per project

Counted from sample or artwork approval and payment — depending on material, color, quantity, packaging and schedule.

Payment

Payment terms are stated in each quotation.
